Terms of Service

Version 2026-09-28 · Effective September 28, 2026

Using Create Lume

These Terms govern use of Create Lume. You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and have authority to act for the organization you create or administer. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Subscription and billing

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally leaves access active through the paid period. Charges are not prorated or refunded solely because you cancel, except where required by law or where Create Lume explicitly agrees otherwise.

You keep 100% of every grant you receive. Create Lume never takes a percentage of grant awards.

Plan pricing and included capabilities can change prospectively. Any change to an active customer’s billing treatment will be reflected in the applicable checkout, billing portal, or customer notice before it takes effect.

Grant information and customer responsibility

Create Lume helps discover and organize funding information, but grant opportunities, eligibility rules, deadlines, award amounts, and funder decisions can change. Customers must review authoritative funder materials before relying on an opportunity or submitting an application. Create Lume does not guarantee eligibility, funding, or award outcomes.

AI-assisted work

AI features can assist with analysis and drafting, but customers remain responsible for reviewing accuracy, eligibility, deadlines, requirements, and final submission decisions. Create Lume does not guarantee grant awards.

Drafting assistance and external submission are separate permissions. Create Lume does not submit a grant application to an outside funder without a separately authorized submission workflow.

Your content

You retain ownership of organization information, documents, application content, and other material you provide. You authorize Create Lume and its service providers to host, process, transmit, transform, and display that content as needed to operate the service and the features you choose to use.

Acceptable use

You may not use Create Lume to break the law, access another customer’s information, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, upload malware, misrepresent eligibility or evidence, or use the platform to deceive funders or other third parties.

Availability and product status

Features labeled Beta, In Development, or Planned may change, be limited, or be unavailable. Available Now features can also experience downtime or third-party dependency failures. Create Lume uses status labels so future functionality is not represented as currently available.

Suspension and termination

Create Lume may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, nonpayment, abuse, legal compliance, or material violation of these Terms. Customers may cancel paid subscriptions through the billing controls made available in the product.

Disclaimers

Create Lume is a software and information service, not a law firm, accounting firm, government agency, funder, or guarantee of grant success. Customers remain responsible for legal, tax, compliance, grant-submission, and organizational decisions.

Support and questions

Use Create Lume Support for billing, access, data, grant-data-quality, technical, security, or Terms questions.
